How long does a new garage door installation take?+
A standard 16x7 double door installation runs 4-6 hours. Single 9x7 doors take 3-4 hours. That includes old-door removal, new-door install, opener setup or transfer, spring tensioning, balance testing, and hauling away the old materials at no extra charge.
What's the best garage door for a Massachusetts home?+
For our climate, we recommend insulated steel doors with R-12 or higher (Clopay Gallery, Garaga Standard+, Amarr Hillcrest). They handle freeze-thaw cycles, resist denting, and cut garage heat loss noticeably. For aesthetic homes we also install carriage-house styles and full-view glass. We'll walk through the trade-offs during your estimate.
